The real difference between the three formats
The three formats aren’t interchangeable, and the difference isn’t marketing — it’s contact time. Lice and their eggs need to be exposed to the treatment long enough to actually die, and that’s exactly where the three formats split:

A shampoo that’s rinsed out in a few minutes simply doesn’t sit on the scalp long enough to do the same job as an oil or a lotion. That’s not a knock on shampoo as a category — it has its place — it just isn’t the tool for an active infestation.
Which one should you actually buy?
If you need this handled today and it’s your first time dealing with it, start with FOFO Anti Lice Lotion — it’s the fastest-acting of the three, and the 15ml size (Rs.199) exists specifically so you’re not stuck buying a big bottle before you know if it works for you.
If you’d rather do an overnight treatment, or you’re treating more than one person in the house, FOFO Anti Lice Oil or LeVel Anti Lice Oil (Rs.699 for 60ml, Rs.999 for 120ml Family Pack) makes more sense — it doubles as a scalp treatment, not just a lice treatment.
If you’ve already run a full treatment and just want a light maintenance step in between, a mild anti-lice shampoo can help — we don’t currently make one, so this is the one case where we’d point you to whatever you already have on hand rather than one of ours.
FOFO Oil or LeVel Oil — does it matter which one you pick?
Not much, honestly. Both are genuine herbal anti-lice oil formulas out of the same manufacturing line, in the same two sizes at the same prices. FOFO is the name people already know from FOFO Anti Lice Lotion, so if you trust that, the FOFO Oil is a natural next step. LeVel is a separate line built around the same multi-oil herbal blend, for anyone who’s come across that name specifically. Neither is “the upgraded one” — pick whichever name you already trust.

Is oil or lotion better for kids?
Both are made to be safe for kids and adults. In practice, we see lotion used more for a first, urgent treatment because it works faster, and oil used more for repeat or preventive care because of the added scalp benefit.
Can a shampoo replace oil or lotion entirely?
Not as a first treatment — a few minutes of contact time isn’t enough to reliably deal with an active infestation. It works better as a maintenance step after you’ve already treated with an oil or lotion.
How often should I reapply?
Follow the instructions on the specific bottle you’re using. As a general rule in this category, a second application about a week after the first catches lice that hatched after the initial treatment.
Why doesn’t Golden Glow make an anti-lice shampoo?
Because contact time matters more than convenience here — oil and lotion simply do more in one sitting. We manufacture what we’ve seen work in the physical market for years; if that changes, this page will be the first place we’d announce it.
